Instrumental Rating IR (A)

The aim of the Instrument Rating IR (A) course is to train the student pilot to fly safely and efficiently under Instrument Flight Rules and in IMC and to obtain the privileges of the holder of an Instrument Rating IR (A) on airplane.

TRAINING PROGRAMME

Theoretical Knowledge Instruction:

  • at least 150 hours of instruction

 

Course content:

Air law
Aircraft general knowledge
Flight performance and planning
Human performance and limitations
Meteorology
Navigation
Communications

 

Flight Instruction:

  • 50 hours of flight training for IR SEP (single engine)

 

  • 55 hours of flight training for IR MEP (multi engine)

 

The training program will be normally developed in 12 weeks, depending on number of students, weather conditions, student’s availability and extra training required.
